A BUNGALOW TRANSFORMATION

Welcome to the epitome of modern design and tranquility – a newly renovated open-concept home seamlessly blending modern aesthetics with Zen-inspired elements. Step into a space where clean lines, soothing colors, and natural elements converge to create a harmonious environment for culinary creativity and relaxation.
NEW LEASE ON LIFE - LOW KEY LUXURY
A SIDE-SPLIT BEGINS A NEW PHASE
The whole house was completely gutted out internally to create an open concept kitchen and two ensuite bedrooms. The fireplace, a floating bench, a 10’ pantry and an 8’ multipurpose island were seamlessly integrated to the space. Modern and Zen-styled wood slat echoes throughout the house. The earth tones and simple lines transform this modern house into a low key luxury.
THE ONE AND ONLY
We’ve transformed the bungalow’s layout into a fully open-concept living space. The master bathroom now features a renovated design with a comfortable seating area and ambient niche lighting for a cozy atmosphere. As part of the floor plan revamp, we also added a new powder room. The kitchen has been redesigned by removing partition walls and incorporating LVL beams to create a more open and airy feel. An 8-foot multipurpose island was installed to further enhance the kitchen's functionality and aesthetic appeal.
MAXWELL
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
This run-down house is located at the corner of Maxwell Street, overlooking a nice and quiet neighbourhood. Our studio was hired to achieve the client’s goal: turn it into the gem of the neighbourhood. We created a soft, romanticenvironment for this 50’s side-split space, allowing all guests to feel warm and invited. The wonderful mix of lines and curves is now layered into this space’s architecture and furnishings. The result is a house beautifully harmonizing with its surroundings. Do you love this look? MODERN, ELEGANT AND EFFORTLESSLY CHIC
We were called in to help a young family to free up their limited kitchen, the adjacent family room, and adding an entrance closet.
We opened up the space by taking down the wall between the dining room and kitchen to create an airy flow throughout the house. The kitchen exudes an inviting atmosphere by adding an 8’ multi-purpose island with a wood slate accent. We also took down the wall between breakfast area and family room, levelled up the floor, resurfaced the fireplace and added a Zen-styled wood slate screen as an accent wall. The front entrance is integrated with a sleek, custom-made closet to create a welcoming space with a minimalist twist.

ELEGANT AND MODERN
After a lengthy restoration and rebuilding session, this house that had been caught on fire, is now reborn. We took down the walls and integrated a multi-functional island to construct an inviting space for the host and hostess to interact with their friends and family. Do you love this look? Over the past year this house has been completely overhauled and today we’re focusing on the center of the living space - the kitchen. An open-concept modern 2-tone kitchen integrated with multiple recessed lighting zones creates various ambiances for different occasions. We took down the walls with structural reinforcement to open up the existing 40+ years old kitchen which results in an inviting family space. The immense 4’x8’ peninsula provides great counter space for culinary, interactive centrepiece and as an entertainment focal point. A glass backsplash depicts a chic statement yet is low maintenance.
A ZEN-INSPIRED BATHROOM
BASEMENT HIDEOUT
An accent shower wall with glass interprets an open concept while also retaining privacy in the bathroom. The floating vanity accompanied with Arcadia wood accent and funnel-shaped pendant creates a soothing atmosphere, a safe haven for plenty of relaxation. A modern, sleek free-standing tub paired with a bamboo book holder and mat echoes with the Zen-styled vanity.
A MASTER BATHROOM RECREATED
This is a master bathroom with a lot of potential, however, the previous owner miscalculated the layout and the bathroom elements had the wrong proportions. We extended the shower area with a black-framed shower glass and door, added ambient lighting around the niches, installed a frameless wall to wall mirror, wrapped polished white quartz around the jacuzzi and eliminated all the unnecessary decor to keep it minimalist. This is a west meets east styled design which creates a Zen master bathroom.

CINDERELLA KITCHEN
A MAGICAL TRANSFORMATION
This small kitchen was a challenge due to the lack of counter space and storage, an oddly placed and barely functional island, an obstructive partition wall between the kitchen and dining room, and over-sized sliding door that took out a big part of the kitchen.
A GENTLEMAN'S BLUE KITCHEN
AN OUT OF DATE KITCHEN GETS AN UP-TO-THE-MOMENT OVERHAUL
The kitchen in a Thornhill house had absolutely overstayed it’s welcome. The wood tone cabinetry did not provide enough storage. The unappealing dark grey backsplash absorbed the limited daylight, and resulted in the room’s drab look. The pot rack which hung atop on the peninsula also created visual interruptions and chaos.
A PERFECT BASEMENT FOR THE FAMILY
BASEMENT MAKEOVER
An unfinished basement always has great potential to extend the living space up to 1/3. Our clients have a growing family and are in need for the extra space. To tackle the lack of light in the basement, we laid out a plan to get as much natural light as possible. We installed glass in the shower area to create a light/shadow interaction and it provides a good lighting source for the bathroom. A small yet fully functional kitchenette snuggled beside the retrofit staircase, gives the basement a vibe for a party. An entertainment area with future big screen TV will certainly complete the space. Next to the entertainment is the kids playground, which provides the family with cozy atmosphere. The guest room is divided by a double French doors and when not in use they can be opened to extend the kids playground.
